Its 2 days before I'm moving back to austin from christmas break, and I'm talking to my roomate on IM, and he says something along the lines of "oh, and I told you i'm not living in the dorms this next semester right?".

wow. kinda changes my outlook for the entire year. My first thought was fear of a terrible new roomate, then the happy thought of having a single for a little while, and then i realized i really am going to miss arvind... even if i have a single for the entire year. Oh he'll be around, but it won't be the same.

that kinda describes how i feel right now. Being home for the holidays has let me see a lot of my old friends, and I realize we will never be as close as we were. I think the true governing forces of friendship are 90% proximity and 10% friendly-love.

Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love

So I wrote this post the first time without a title. I didn't think blogger would care, it seems like a decent app, should be able to handle no title. Nope. I was wrong. It deleted my whole post, and i have to say, that post was enormous. The long and short of it is: you as an audience got gyped (well, saved... depending on how bad my writing is).

The quick version

• Halloween was fun, Yngve Malmstien is over rated, but Regge Metal is cool (band named Orange Sky).


• This weekend Howard and Grace (family from my mom's side) came for a wedding. Unfotunately the wedding is next weekend, so i guess my family will be seeing them again, while im up here at austin


• there was a bonfire, and it was good


• NWCC's battle of the bands was cool. The girl that invited me was not [stupid exes..]

Somewhere in Between

Arvind is ribbing me for only using blogger to link to pictures, so i guess its about time i make a 'real' entry.

I was very worried about the workload on this weekend before I got to it, but as I started looking over the project specs and working on my project, i realized i had a lot more free time than i thought. Although i didn't get to use that free time for a date with elissa, i did get to a few parties.

at least school seems to have stabilized to my liking, good grades overall.

Its early in the morning and i just can't seem to sleep. So I monkey around on Picasa (google's photo manager) and find i can publish images to blogger. Well blogger is a pretty cool blogging system, and i don't have an account yet. And I am bored....
